Week1- Lecture

Todays lecture in New and emerging technologies was pretty much about the subject and what we'l be doing in it. It was pretty humorous actually and very entertaining. We spoke about communication alot in every aspect and where it first started. My instant first thought was a string and cup haaaahaha. It was actually drawing :/ anywayss moving on...

We also spoke about technology, how it relates to us, what it is used for, how it has been adapted and expanded to help us in our everyday lives. I reckon technology is one of the most exciting topics to talk about, theres so many ways to go with it, we rely on it more than any other person or living creature. Convergence is also a big part of our lives as new innovations and adaptions create a device combining every element of life's 'necessities'. Older and newer communication technologies were discussed. In a few year everything will be different, everything we know now will be old.

I watched a video on youtube a few months ago about technology and how it is ever changing. It is very interesting, i think the videos from like 2009 though, which means these statistics have probably doubled...
